In the first half of 2023, Turkey achieved a significant increase in Automotive Spare Parts exports. According to data released by the Uludağ Automotive Exporters' Association, the value of these exports reached $7.172 billion.
These parts and accessories were shipped to more than 200 destinations worldwide, including countries, free trade zones, and autonomous regions. The substantial growth in the value of automotive spare parts exports, which increased by 10.54% compared to the same period of the previous year, is encouraged.
This growth led to an increase in value from $6.488 billion to $7.172 billion. Note that automotive spare parts exports represent 41.4% of Turkey's total automotive sector exports during the first six months of 2023, reaching a total value of $17.336 billion.
Germany topped the list of importing countries for automotive spare parts from Turkey, with a value of $1.691 billion. Italy followed with $472 million, and Russia with $453 million.
